Linda R. Silverman is a former director of the Contemporary Art Department who worked for ten and a half years at Sotheby’s New York. She graduated from McGill University in Canada with a degree in Art History and is a founding member of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

For more than 30 years, she has worked with global financial and real estate clients to advise them how to navigate the highly complex contemporary art world. Her auction experience coupled with her passion for appreciating art enables her to engage the collectors in experiencing the excitement that the art world offers. This advantage helps clients also to secure their investment value.

Through her friendship with Jeanne-Claude and Christo, she introduced the artists to Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and was able to get permission for The Gates (Project for Central Park, New York City), 2005 which grossed $254,000,000 for New York City in 16 days!

Silverman focuses on American, Chinese and European 20th and 21st Century Art including paintings, sculpture, drawings, and installation art. Her expert knowledge and connoisseurship offer an unparalleled advantage to her clients.
